Regina Drury

Regina Drury is a Financial Analyst with the 2nd largest Senior Care Orgnaisation in the United States.  She produces videos for small business and she is a widowed single mom of 7 year old triplet girls.

Regina is real about the process of grief and identifies that she has relied on not only her family and friends, but her community groups as well.  “It’s just been within the past year I’ve just come out of it a little bit.  The support of everyone around me is pretty much what keeps me going.”

I love how Regina recognises one of her strengths as adaptability.  “There’s probably not a whole lot that can come at me right now that I can’t just adapt to and move on.”

Regina recommends:
Charity: David Cornfield Melanoma Fund
YouTube: Dear 16-year-old Me (get the tissues out!)
Internet: Drop Box
Book: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
Book: The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod

Regina’s top tips on Multiple children.

  1. Establish a routine.
  2. Charting how much they eat, sleep, medicine intake, for the doctor.
  3. Find a support network.  Local or Facebook group.
  4. It’s a tough one – teach them to go to sleep by themselves as early as possible. (advice from Mom of sextuplets).

“Just love your kids.…They don’t care if everything’s perfect, they don’t care if you’re perfect, they’re going to love you anyway….Spend time with your spouse as much as possible, because you never know what’s going to happen.”
